2. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), and any organization or role information you provide.

Content you upload or generate. Video files, external video URLs, transcripts, translations, voice-over outputs, comments, and related metadata you create through the Service.

Billing information. When you pay for a service, Stripe collects and processes your card information. We do not store card numbers on our servers; we receive from Stripe only a payment identifier, the amount charged, and the payment status.

Usage data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps. We use this data for security, debugging, and understanding how the Service is used.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• process transactions and send transaction-related communications;
• authenticate users and secure the Service;
• respond to support requests;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use content you upload to train AI models.

4. How we share information

We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for text data.
• Cloudflare R2 — object storage for video files and derived assets.
• Vercel — application hosting and serverless compute.
• Google (Gemini) — AI transcription and on-screen text detection.
• Microsoft Azure Speech — text-to-speech synthesis for voice-over generation.
• Modal — compute for video processing tasks such as burn-ins.
• Email providers — for transactional and notification emails.

Each of these processors is bound by its own privacy commitments and processes data solely to provide services to us. We may also share information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stitles, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded video files and derived assets are retained while your account is active or until you delete them. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (to keep you signed in), security, and remembering user preferences (for example, light or dark theme). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and processor selection. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. International transfers

Stitles is based in the United States, and our processors operate infrastructure in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
